My teapot spout turned blue, why?

I bought a James Sadler Teapot from the UK online (I live in the US) and for some reason after having it for a month, the spout where the tea comes out turned blue!! I don’t use it, it sits on my shelf for decoration… I can't call the place where I bought it from, hence my phone doesn’t make UK calls, and I can't get the number because my computer won't let me access the page.
